Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays. I hope everyone is enjoying their family at this time of the year. Jason and I have been doing a lot of family time. but unfortunately both of our boys are sick this week. I have had the luxury to not really have to deal with sickness for the last four years I have had kids, but this year I am 2 for 2 and both in the same week. The boys are still in good spirits and can't wait for Santa, but I feel so bad when they cant run around too much and play with their cousin.
We have Christmas Eve dinner tonight with Jason family, which will be fun, good food, and Family. Then we are thinking about going to the Del Mar Lights festival. The kids really love Christmas lights and this is something you stay on the car for. SO for them being sick it will be nice to keep the heater on. Maybe we will get some Hot Chocolate from Starbucks and enjoy the time just the four of us.
I can't wait for the boys to wake up tomorrow morning and see all the cool gifts that Santa and I brought. Even the BIKE they got from Grandma and Papa. They are going top be so excited. I just hope we will be able to get it all back to San Francisco.
Everyone enjoy the Happy season with your love ones and I hope everyone gets all they want tonight!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
So 6 more days left till Christmas. My kids are so excited!! Luckily for us we are done with the shopping. All I have left to do is wrap the gifts that I left in San Diego and Bake, Bake, Bake with the boys on Monday. We will Have so much fun. My Friend Heather bought the boys their own little Gingerbread apron for baking. It is so cute. They are perfect for baking Gingerbread men!!
Jason, the kids and I leave tomorrow for San Diego. I cant wait to see all our family and friends. This is going to be the best Christmas EVER!!! I still have to pack, but I am sure I will get it done.
Its been pretty cold here in San Francisco, 40's during the day and low 30's at night, I don't think this is really what I signed up for but I guess we are getting through it. We went into Downtown SF on Sat night to see the Christmas tree on Pier 39 and it was so cold, we all had hats, gloves, huge jackets and scarfs to keep us warm and it was still so cold. Its feeling like Christmas. I don't think we ever spent a holiday season in cold weather. Its always been nice with the sun shining... My kids are looking for snow now (probably since it is so cold) luckily we dont have to deal with that. We will just make a drive of 45min and go play in the snow.
to help everyone get into the Christmas spirit I Included a video of Jaydon's Preschool Class singing Jingle Bells, Santa's coming to town, and feliz navidad.
ENJOY!!!

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
Well it is Christmas time and I am so excited. This is going to be the best Christmas yet. Jaydon and Bryce really truly understand whats going on, and are really enjoying all the wonderful Christmas activities I have lined up for them. Our Tree is up with Presents all around it. The boys are getting a ton of Gifts. The outside is decorated, and I have a gazillion movies recorded for them to watch. We have made our baking list and cant wait to get started this weekend. As well as a ton of crafts to keep them busy.
Jaydons school recital is tonight and he will be singing Jingle Bells, Santa's coming to town and Feliz Navidad. I cant wait, I will post the video next time so you all can see it.
We are leaving for San Diego on the 19th to spend Christmas with our families, but next year I think we will stick around here. Traveling for the Holidays is a hassle, but it will be fun to see everyone again.
We are planning a Tahoe trip at the beginning of 2009. Jaydon really wants to see snow and learn to Snowboard. He is really interested in learning new things and Jason and I try our hardest to let him experience anything he wants to try. It is important to me that my kids are never held back from anything they want to try. Everything is a learning opportunity and I am going to take it.
Well I am off to pick Jaydon up and take him out for Hot Chocolate before his recital. I will post some pictures from Thanksgiving...

It's been awhile
So it's been awhile since my last post, Probably because we had visitors and took a trip to San Diego. I thought It would be good to write a quick blog about whats been happening before we leave on Monday for San Diego again.
So in October I was so lucky to have my BFF come for a few days and drive home with me. While I was in San Diego, me and the kids were able to go Camping, go to LEGOLAND, and Sea World. We were so busy but had a ton of fun catching up with everyone. My Mom came home with me for a week. I hope she had a good time. I was happy to have her here, so she could see where we live. We took her to the Golden Gate Bridge, which I included a picture of.
After she left it was time for Halloween, it rained and rained that day...but our city puts on a "Safe Street" every year, where they close down the street and neighborhood and encourage everyone to go trick or treating there. I was so cool. It was like when I was a kid and everyone went out to do REAL Trick - Or - Treating. It stop raining for an hour that night, so we rushed out and around the neighborhood so the kids could go. They had fun and so did Jason and I.
After Halloween its just been back to buisness as usual. We did enrol Jaydon in school. He will start on Monday the 1st. I am so excited for him and me. I will be nice to spend some special time with Bryce, and hopefully Jaydon will meet some friends.
Last weekend we took the kids to see the Redwoods in Santa Cruz. It was so cool, and the kids had a blast. On our way out of the trail we spotted a TON of ladybugs. I included a picture so you can see how cool it looked.
I hope everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We will be heading Back to San Diego on Monday. I dont know if I am real excited about this trip. I knoda think it would've been nice to stay home. Oh well theres always next year.

The week came to a crashing end!!
Ok so my week completely and totally started off horrible and came to a crashing end...Seriously.
so Sat we come home for our trip to the aquarium...which released the Great White Shark and never updated their website but anyways, we came home to our carpet being completely wet from a leak in the upstairs unit. So finally that night someone cames and changes the pad and cleans the carpet and leaves big fans to make sure it drys all the way. We leave the fans on as well as open the windows and its dry. then over a couple of days it starts to stink like mold or mildew or wetness or something, do you think they have come to look at it? NO not yet and its quite annoying!!
Then we recieved some news on Monday that Jason Grampa had passed away, so of course our household was a little somber, and unfortunatly we were unable to make the services but our thoughts and prayers are with his family right now.
To end of our week this morning Jason left to go to work and was back in 5 minutes because some guy crashed into our car in the middle of the night. What a great surprise to wake up to and a great way to end our week. Thank god the guy left his info and the truck will be replaced at no cost to us, but I have things happing next week, my friend is coming up for a visit, I have some career thing I have to go to and a drive to San Diego. I am hoping the car situation works out and Jason will be able to get around.
So far this year has been a bad one for my family, personally, emotionally, and finacially. I am just hoping things will start looking up soon. I have lost my Grandfather, and my Grandmother at the beginning of the year and from that point it seems a gloomy cloud has been over us. Everytime the sun starts to shine the grey cloud come back. Oh well I guess thats what life is all about and it is Fall.
Enjoy your weekend. We are in for a wet one. (at least in the bay area)

Great White Shark...or Not
Ok so we get SO excited to see the Great White Shark at the Monterey Bay Aquarium...and they had already released it. Of course we were all bummed because that was the main reason we went this weekend, but we moved on and enjoyed the aquarium. It is such an awesome aquarium to go see. If anyone is ever in the area go. We saw somethings we've never seen before, and we are passholders to Seaworld!
We were able to see Giant Octopus', Jellyfish, Hammerhead Sharks, and even a giant freaky looking Sunfish. The kids had a great time, we enjoyed a new beach community, and Beautiful weather. You can't ask for much more. However we are all still bummed about the Great White Shark :(
My sister came by for an hour or so yesterday, it was so great to see a friendly face from home. Its comforting to know that my family is doing well and we will try to see each other every chance we get. 1 more week and we will have more friendly faces to see, and 2 more weeks we will be in SD for a little bit. I can't wait.
Until the next time, Take care and enjoy some of the pics of the aquarium

So Far in Foster City
Ok...So we've been here for a month now. Its an ok town, theres water everywhere you look which is nice to see, But the people here are so rude. Its like a town buildt for people who hate kids or have no time in their carrer orrianted life to care about kids. It is so frusterating walking in Target and being sideswiped, or run down because you and your kids aren't walking fast enough for them to get to where they need to go. I understand that life is stressful and busy, but really your gonna get frusterated at a mom taking her time, so her kids can look at Halloween Costumes. Its not that serious I promise you. Take some time to enjoy the little life pleasures. Its well worth it. Some people have been kind, but not most. Oh well!
So we are heading off to go see the Monterey Bay Aquarium tomorrow. They have a Great White Shark on Display for only the 4th time in its history and the boys are so excited to go see the shark. My Kids are all for Ocean animals. So this is a big deal for them and something they definatly will be talking about for a while. Actually they have been talking about all week. I will post pictures when we get back.
Take care for now, and keep checking back here for our New Adventures.
